Hey guys, sorry it's taken me awhile to post, just finished moving in yesterday. Believe it or not, I have not run into a potato field yet--I don't even know what one looks like! The town I live in, Pocatello, reminds me of a Puyallup but way more white. There is absolutely nothing to do around here, I just wander around looking like a hobo...Although the place I live in looks nice, it kinda sucks. There are trains running across from the complex with their horns blazing all day. I have 5 roommates, although only 4 have moved in. I think the mangers just placed all the people of color in one unit because I've yet to see a non-white person other than my roommates. I tried to post pictures on the blog a few days ago but apparently I can only do five at a time and it causes my post to text wrap all weird...I'll let you all know how orientation goes. Apparently it's going to be four hours of going through a student manual with a tour of a library. Good times.

At least you are 100 miles away from SLC, you can watch the U-ah Jazz.
ReplyDeleteGod damn man it looks like you're literally walking through a Vietnamese rice village. I always imagined Idaho as such. Get good with your roommates and send some pictures of them and your room over man. We want to see what the campus' "International Room" looks like.
ReplyDeleteTim: Reminds me of Full Metal Jacket.
ReplyDeletePotato Head: I hope to god your complex isn't like a colored dentention center, jk.
